Hamburg Sustainability Week is a series of events focused on sustainable development in Hamburg. With the motto “We’re shaping the future. Together,” initiatives, organizations, companies, and institutions across the city will open their doors from June 26 to July 3, 2026, for discussions, workshops, and hands-on activities.

The goal is to make sustainability visible and tangible in the everyday lives of Hamburg’s residents and to advance the local implementation of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The events will take place throughout Hamburg and invite citizens to learn more, join the discussion, and contribute their own ideas.
As part of the Hamburg Sustainability Conference taking place in Hamburg, Hamburg Sustainability Week thus serves as a bridge between the international discourse and Hamburg’s urban community. It translates global sustainability issues into local projects, encounters, and concrete action on the ground.
