Habitat is a festival for electronic music and the finest escapism. At the end of July, we'll be celebrating 32 hours non-stop in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, powered by an ambitious lineup of techno, electro, D&B, and house acts, as well as musical oddballs and surprise packages from select genres. Breathless and atmospherically dense, we'll explore in-between worlds and find what we've never lost.
The Habitat Festival took place for the first time in 2015 – back then at the Hungriger Wolf airfield in Hohenlockstedt. It grew, became more diverse, and more exciting. Habitat became a community, and we set out together on a shared journey of exploration into borderline realms and states of consciousness – with workshops, live shows, and endless DJ sets.
Since its inception, the festival has placed a special emphasis on unique bookings that bring together the most diverse genres of electronic music, offering a platform to exciting artists and developments, and at the same time opening up eyes and ears for worthwhile sounds beyond the usual.
