To mark the exhibition "Children, Children!", we invite you on a journey through the centuries of depictions of children – from the Renaissance to contemporary works. Discover how images of children once represented claims to power and dominion, and how the understanding of childhood has changed: from the "little adult" to idealized representations and on to genuine snapshots of play, belonging, and family. Be surprised by the stories behind the images and learn how deeply reality and representation are intertwined.
