When Fabian Egger plays the flute, he seems almost fused with his instrument. And indeed, he has scarcely put it down since discovering it as a child. At the age of 13, he was admitted as a junior student to the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, and numerous awards followed, most recently the Fanny Mendelssohn Förderpreis in 2026, where he also impressed the jury with a composition of his own. Pianist Simon Haje has similarly risen to international prominence in recent years. Together, the two musicians now immerse themselves in, among other things, the impressionistic musical landscape of Claude Debussy.
