Richard has won the lottery – 162 million euros! All his problems could be solved: he could get a better flat or even a house; he could realise his professional dreams as an architect – or stop working altogether; a carefree life lies ahead for him and his little family. But money isn’t everything, Richard tells himself – and decides not to claim his winnings.
Over dinner together, he informs his wife, his eccentric mother and his boss – who is also his best friend – of his decision. But instead of understanding for his moral stance, he is met with sheer horror. The mood threatens to turn sour, because once the initial shock has passed, the battle is no longer fought with arguments alone. How far are the three of them prepared to go to ensure that Richard does, after all, claim the prize money?
