The Danish Chamber Orchestra, with its long-standing tradition, was founded in 1939 and ranks among Europe’s leading orchestras. It has received numerous awards, including the prestigious Opus Klassik prize. For its debut at the Elbphilharmonie in 2027, the orchestra will present a thrilling programme under the baton of its acclaimed principal conductor, Adam Fischer. The solo highlight of the evening is Stefan Dohr of the Berlin Philharmonic, who will perform Mozart’s cheerful Horn Concerto No. 3. The concert opens with Haydn’s solemn symphony »The Clock«. The finale will be Mozart’s Symphony No. 40, one of the most popular and famous works in the history of music.
