Fabian Schmidt-Rhen is a sculptor, actor, and special education teacher. He has been working for 20 years in his studio in Hamburg-Volksdorf. Since 2025, he has been regularly participating in exhibitions. This is his first solo exhibition. He is a member of the artists' association "Kunstspuren Volksdorf".
Approximately 30 wooden and stone sculptures as well as drawings by the artist are on display.
In the sculpture garden of the IMBA Gallery, there will once again be an excellent selection of stone sculptures from Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwean sculptor Rickson Z. Murehwa demonstrates how he creates a sculpture from a raw stone, and he leads a workshop for Hamburg sculptors.
