Exhibition Invitation
From May 12–16, 2026, Atelier Wipke will present a selection of recent works at the Satellit Pop-Up Space in downtown Hamburg. This temporary exhibition space offers an open setting for contemporary artistic practices and facilitates a direct encounter between art and urban space.
The exhibition focuses on large-format acrylic paintings in which color, movement, and nature interact within atmospheric pictorial spaces. Drawing on her experience in movement education, Wipke develops a style of painting that translates physical perception and dynamic processes into color-rich compositions. Fluid transitions, luminous swaths of color, and floating veils of mist give rise to landscapes that are experienced less as representations and more as energetic spaces.
The works open up a visual landscape between expansiveness, movement, and transformation, inviting viewers to let their gaze enter these colorful spaces.
Opening Reception: Wednesday, May 13, 2026, 6:00–8:30 PM
