When it comes to authenticity, the Altes Land Shanty Choir is second to none: numerous members have a history at sea and translate their experiences into passionate maritime music. Since its founding in 1981, the choir has delighted audiences in concert halls, open-air venues, and on private stages, and is the perfect choice for opening the large open-air stage at the Landungsbrücken. The first sea shanties will be performed on Friday starting at 11 a.m.
