Kampnagel

Kampnagel is a world-renowned international production company that presents contemporary performing arts, concerts, conferences and a wide variety of festivals and themes.

On the six Kampnagel stages the works of international artists and those of the local Hamburg scene are shown. The programme presents a broad spectrum of aesthetic positions and groundbreaking tendencies, not only in theatre, dance and performance, but also in music, visual arts and architecture. Kampnagel is a productive laboratory for the development of ideas, a think tank and place for controversies that opens itself up to society and processes the reality surrounding it into art. The house is networked throughout Germany in an alliance of international production houses and works globally and locally with a large number of different cooperation partners.

A total of over 900 events per season take place at Kampnagel, attracting 180,000 visitors* to the site. As a permanent venue for the queer scene, everyone is really welcome here!
