The name is program: Playground Coffee is always trying out new things - both in terms of roasts and preparation methods. Come by and get involved with the honest coffee. By the way, our new favourite quote comes from the founder Veljko Tatalovic himself: "Coffee is water with foreign experience".

Selected Swedish coffee specialities from the KOPPI roasting company are served here. This is accompanied by extremely delicious cakes, bagels and even craft beer. In the simple Swedish atmosphere of Hamburg's residential district of Winterhude, not far from Mühlenkamp, you can relax with a cup of good coffee.

The small but characterful Hermetic Coffee Roasters ( previously less political) in Sternstraße is a mixture of café and specialist coffee and accessories shop - under the motto "celebrating the diversity of coffee", it offers a variety of coffees and roasts, as well as filters, pots, coffee grinders and other unique items that will fall into your hands during a little rummage.

In-house roasting and Scandinavian interior design - behind the Public Coffee Roasters in Hamburg is a huge amount of passion for coffee beans and coffee roasting, as well as a young, cool team. If you come to the café in the Neustadt as a coffee thirsty and/or connoisseur, your nose will tell you that you've come to exactly the right place!

Barista art is also very popular in the heart of Eimsbüttel. Eckhart Meyer and his partner Sener Sönmez are always busy at Due Baristi. Together they are "Due Baristi" - two full professionals at the machine and bosses of the café of the same name in Eimsbüttel. By the way, their little place is one of the best addresses in Germany when it comes to coffee!

After a harbour tour or a walk through the Elbe tunnel towards the Michel, your path leads directly past the Café Johanna. Always well frequented, it is nevertheless a quiet oasis. People like to sit here and linger while looking at passing squirrels and cyclists. Breakfast at Café Johanna is particularly popular, as in addition to coffee and tea, juices and lemonades, numerous cold and hot dishes are offered.

Anyone entering the Zuckermonarchie in St. Pauli for the first time immediately feels transported to an antique doll's house. The interior reflects what the kitchen does: a colourful, almost overwhelming variety of delicious and delightfully unreasonable dishes. One therefore immediately senses that the sugar monarchy was originally a catering company, because not only the quality but also the visual presentation of the delicacies is sensationally good.
