Enjoy the unique panoramic view of the Elbe with some delicious cocktails, cool drinks and summertime snacks at the restaurant River View.

Enjoy the unique panoramic view of the Elbe with some delicious cocktails, cool drinks and summertime snacks in the River View Restaurant and in the Rilano Beach Bar in The Rilano Hotel Hamburg.

The contemporary spirit of the modern, all-embracing and creative cuisine attends you in the restaurant with its view of the Elbe as well as on the sun terrace or on the deckchair area. Wherever you wish to eat, the kitchen can offer you some extraordinary dishes: modern interpretations of north German specialities are on the menu, alongside creative cross-over compositions of national and international delicacies. In summer, this is a wonderful place to enjoy the sunshine, and to succumb to special offerings like the 'Caribbean Barbecue', pleasures not just for the palate but also for the soul.  Another highlight: For the Hafengeburtstag [Harbour Birthday] and the Hamburg Cruise Days you can pick up your own beach basket, picnic hamper and a bottle of wine and look back at the ocean giants as they enter and leave the port.

The Rilano Beach Bar is open to the public from May to September (Fridays & Saturdays 3pm to 11pm and Sundays 1pm to 9pm). The Beach Bar and the restaurant can be booked for summer parties, Christmas celebrations or for other events.

CITY AREA PORTRAIT Hamburg South

Around Harburg's inland harbour, historical and modern architectural styles merge. It's maybe even a bit like HafenCity. Finkenwerder, on the other hand, has the charm of a fishing village. – Here, you see a quite different, almost rural side of Hamburg. Harburg and Finkenwerder are also good starting points for discovering the Hamburg metropolitan area.
