The success story of the [m]eatery bar + restaurant began in the restaurant in the SIDE Design Hotel, not far from the Hamburg State Opera. Here, tasty steaks are grilled in the 800 degree Southbend oven. Due to the "shock heating", the meat retains the liquid inside and is particularly juicy. In addition, the high temperature caramelises the fat on the outside of the steaks, creating a tasty crust.
Based on the matured meat, the bar staff presents unique Iced and Vintage cocktails in addition to the usual drinks. Aged in wood barrels, the latter have a unique taste. The wood removes the spiciness from the liquor and gives the cocktail a complex, round and voluminous taste.
