Great harbor tour by bike

Like most harbor tours, this one starts at the Landungsbrücken. Here you can get there easily by public transport and can even rent a StadtRAD.

From the Landungsbrücken you cycle westwards along the Elbuferradweg. You will pass several fish stalls, the dockland and beautiful Elbe beaches. You can look out over the water to the cranes of the harbor on the other side of the Elbe.

At the Teufelsbrück ferry dock, you cross over to Finkenwerder and cycle along the Finkenwerder Vorhafen. With an impressive view of the countless railroad tracks that crisscross the harbor, the route leads to Kattwyk Bridge. This offers a fascinating view of the container terminal and the Köhlbrandt.

The route continues in an arc to the Travehafen and Ellerholzhafen. Then it goes along various canals to the Norderelbe, which is crossed. On the other bank the Billhafen and finally the Oberhafenkanal are waiting, which is followed to the Speicherstadt.

Along the historic Sandtorkai, the tour continues in the direction of Kehrwiederspitze. Here you leave the Binnenhafen to the right and roll the last meters through the colorful hustle and bustle of the Port of Hamburg back to the Landungsbrücken, where the starting point of the tour is reached again.
