Fans of the hearty, fish roll lovers and Hamburg gourmets are right on this tour through the Hanseatic city. The culinary tour can best be started at the Landungsbrücken, which is easily accessible by public transport. Here you can also easily rent a bike at a StadtRAD station.

Directly at the Landungsbrücken there are already some fish stalls. The one with the tastiest fish sandwiches, the "Brücke 10", is waiting for customers at the Landungsbrücke of the same name. After the first tasting, it's on to the fish market. On Sunday mornings, there is a free choice of fish here.

With all kinds of impressions of the hustle and bustle of the market in the luggage, we continue along the Elbe and past the Goedeken Frischeshop. Here, too, a small snack is worthwhile.

The tour continues to the Elbe beach Övelgönne, where the bike is parked and you can stroll through the sand to the beach bar "Strandperle". Here, not only fish fans get their money's worth, but also burger lovers. With a view of the Elbe and the passing boats, both taste even better.

After an extensive break on the beach, Veloroute 1 leads via Altona back to St. Pauli, where you'll find numerous good burger joints, including vegan burger restaurants. Satisfied and with a full stomach, you will then return to the Landungsbrücken through the Große Wallanlagen and the Alter Elbepark.
