Sunday Morning Special: Off to the fish market! Unser Hamburg

Five o'clock in the morning is a very early shift, but not only for "early risers", also for "night owls", because with this tour, you will be refreshingly awake!

On the Reeperbahn at five in the morning, you can go to the dancing towers, the Panoptikum, past the former dance café Keese and by Spielbudenplatz. You stroll along the theatre mile to the Davidwache and watch the night revellers glide home and the red light district go to sleep. In addition, you’ll get a "typical Hamburg speciality" and a delicious hot drink!

Then it's further to the harbour line and from there into the depths of Hamburg: into the old Elbe Tunnel! The stiff breeze blows and you can feel how the port slowly awakens. Now you head to Finkenwerder on the ferry. This way you learn a lot about the port of Hamburg.
After the ferry ride, you continue on foot along the Großen Elbstraße and look at the gourmet restaurants and the fish wholesalers in amazement. Passing the haddock collections you go directly to the world-famous fish market. Here you can browse through the market and let your Sunday morning stroll gently come to an end.

Discover regional food and dishes at sunrise with the help of our sustainable partner Unser Hamburg

The team of Unser Hamburg is actively committed to sustainable tourism, especially by promoting social viability within city tours. Their tours were awarded the Fairtours Seal. Through the formation of smaller groups of visitors, who can explore the diverse atmospheres of the districts of Hamburg on foot the balance between the satisfaction of the tourists and the hamburgers succeeds. For example, large groups of visitors are prevented from blocking sidewalks for residents, and voice amplifiers are only used in defined areas. But sustainability also takes part in their team management. Fresh regional fruits are available to employees every day in the office, and fair working conditions with company health management are also promoted.
