Winter Pride

Christmas Market for Queers & Friends

Winter Pride opens its pink doors once again this year, and with its convivial atmosphere and an entertaining weekend programme attracts many visitors to St. Georg.

A mere stone's throw from the Central Station, it once again offers mulled wine, punch and delicacies, not to mention artworks and jewellery at Hamburg's only gay and lesbian Christmas market. Centrally located on the car park on Lange Reihe/corner of Kirchenallee, Winter Pride quickly made a name for itself last year thanks to its convivial and tolerant atmosphere.

The Christmas market of the lesbian-gay community for everyone

As in the previous year, weekends provide a colourful programme of music and entertainment. Some of the highlights are the Homo-Herzblatt (homo sweetheart) and the "Schrottwichteln" (rubbish secret Santa) with Ricardo M., where visitors can exchange their least-liked Christmas presents. It's all for a good cause as a part of the proceeds goes to projects of the Queer Community.
