Lönö Estate in Sweden, March 15, 1947. Alone and abandoned, the once great Zarah Leander, the siren of the Nazis, celebrates her 40th birthday. The telephone remains silent, the voices of the past grow louder. She embarks on a musical journey through the memories of a career she bought by turning a blind eye to politics. A solo recital with sharp wit about a woman who could never truly decide between art, world affairs, and her own responsibility.
