The »Flairdrum« is a really cool DIY instrument – literally a »bottle-air drum«. You take recycled PET bottles and inflate them through a valve until they’re firm enough to serve as a resonating chamber. Participants build their own bottle instrument and then, of course, try it out extensively. Together, they create a wonderful Caribbean sound.
Please note: This event is intended for families with children ages 6 and up.
Children under 6 years of age are not permitted to participate in this workshop. Children may participate with or without an accompanying adult. An accompanying adult must also purchase a ticket. On-site supervision is provided during the lunch break. Each child should bring their own lunch. The workshop takes place from 10:00 to 17:00.
