Fair Trade City Hamburg and Kultur&Gut invite artists and creatives from across Germany to participate in an exhibition exploring the theme of SPORT FASHION CONSUMERISM, taking place from October 2 to October 15, 2026, at Kultur&Gut in Hamburg-Ottensen.

For background information and inspiration, two informal idea labs will be held as part of the Faire Woche. Everyone interested is warmly invited to join: an in-person idea lab on Saturday, September 12 at Kultur&Gut (Friedensallee 7–9) and a digital idea lab on Sunday, September 13.

The deadline for submitting artworks is September 30, 2026.

All forms of art & design are welcome!

The artworks will be sold after the exhibition, with 50% of the proceeds donated to charity.

About the content of the exhibition:

Have you ever wondered who made your sneakers, your three-stripe trousers, or your football, where they were made, and under what conditions?

How much microplastic is released when a polyester shirt is washed — and what impact does the textile industry have on the environment?

Who actually benefits from a world of fashion in abundance?

Whether your work addresses climate change, critiques of capitalism and colonial continuities, globalization, trade unions and gender inequality, or something completely different; whether you focus on sports or fashion — we look forward to your contribution and your perspective!
