The World Children’s Festival will take a break in 2025.
KinderKinder eV made this decision with a heavy heart, so that they could work calmly and without time pressure on the strategic reorientation of the event. The World Children's Festival has been running for almost 40 years. However, the organizers are now reaching their limits in some areas. For example, we are all very pleased that so many visitors come to the festival every year, but this also means more and more requirements to ensure your safety. In addition, there are steadily rising costs, including in the area of technology, which are becoming increasingly difficult to cover.
For these reasons, the association wants to take a year to calmly refocus the festival. In the meantime, the association has other exciting activities related to children's rights planned. For example, they're going on a truck concert tour through all the districts with Waldinsel Records, and the Children's Rights Workshop will be even bigger and more exciting this year. Stay tuned—it starts in the fall!
