Since 2021, BUND Hamburg has been collecting garbage in Wilhelmsburg with its three green canoes and has been able to remove more than 3 tons of garbage from the waters during this period.
The Hamburg Anglers Association cleans waters using hooks, among other things, and in this way also reaches hidden garbage dumps on the bottom.
On Hamburg's Family Day, we will work together to combat the garbage in and around our waterways: on land and on water, using canoes and grappling hooks.
