We've been researching virtual reality (VR) and theater since 2018. Now we want to take the plunge and try a frequency leap. This was the brainchild of one of the greatest inventors, Hedy Lamarr – and to this day, it's why our technical devices and gadgets are still connected! We're connecting self-built analog worlds with digital ones – and the theater with VR headsets.
Before things really get started in spring 2026, we'll be reopening the VR lab for families for a beta and crash test on September 13th and Sunday, September 14th, during Theater Night. At the same time, Playing Up, a hands-on performance game, will take place outside on the Children's Rights Square.
Further open labs in fall 2025: see website for dates.
