As a composer, he has published numerous works, including the guitar method "La Chitarra Volante," which remained among the top ten instrumental learning materials in Italy for many years. He has also received several awards for his extensive teaching, including the prestigious "Guitar d'Oro" award for pedagogy at the 17th Interactionary Conference at the "A. For the concert in Hamburg, Vito Nicola Paradiso will bring a new piece for the Hamburg Youth Guitar Orchestra, which will be premiered with him as soloist.
Hamburg Youth Guitar Orchestra (JGOH) | Founded in 2006, the Hamburg Youth Guitar Orchestra (JGOH) currently brings together 20 of Hamburg's best young guitarists. Over the past few years, its members have won well over 300 prizes in the "Jugend musiziert" competition, including first prizes with the highest possible score in the national finals. In 2012 and 2025, the JGOH won first prize at the German Orchestra Competition, and in 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2024, it won first prize four times in a row at the state orchestra competition "Orchestrale." In addition to concerts at the Elbphilharmonie and Laeiszhalle concert halls, and tours both nationally and internationally, the young ensemble has garnered attention with six self-produced CD and DVD recordings. With its JGOH Junior Teams East and North, it has two of its own youth ensembles where children can prepare for later participation in the "adult" JGOH. More information: www.jgo-hamburg.de

Two ways to participate for free:
1) For players with less prior experience: You can participate in the performance of the piece “Minimalismi Indu” by Vito Nicola Paradiso. Here's a glimpse of a concert where the JGOH spontaneously included the piece as an encore: www.youtube.com/watch. The sheet music will be sent in advance, and you should prepare thoroughly on your own. In addition, you would need to attend the rehearsal of the JGOH Junior Team East and/or the rehearsal of the JGOH Junior Team North on Friday, April 17, 2026, as well as the final rehearsal on April 18, 2026. You can obtain detailed information and sheet music by emailing info@gitarrehamburg.de.
2) For advanced players: You can participate in the world premiere of the piece “Suoni DArtificio,” written by Vito Nicola Paradiso for the JGOH. To play, you must attend the last three regular Thursday rehearsals of the JGOH before the concert (April 2, 9, and 16, 2026), as well as the final rehearsal on the day of the performance (April 18, 2026).
