Line Up: "Live In The City" Concert Series
The Rehats – this is handcrafted, authentic indie pop/folk from Freiburg, reminiscent of "Mumford & Sons." Their songs have hit potential, as evidenced by performances at renowned festivals and the fact that they've made it onto the radio playlists of major stations.
The story begins in September 2015, when singer-songwriter Johannes "Jojo" Stang posted his first self-produced music videos on social media. These attracted the attention of other musicians, and a band project was formed.
The band's first performances followed just a few months later. Michael Simon (drums) was one of the first members, along with Jojo (guitar, vocals). They were later joined by Nadine Traoré (bass and vocals) and lead guitarist Reto Feßler. Since then, the band has regularly toured clubs in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and played at major festivals such as the renowned Chiemsee Summer Festival and the Lörracher Stimmen Festival. The response from their audiences underlines the continued high demand for
authentic, handmade music.
