Just a champagne tasting?
Far from it… amidst spectacular history and stories, we transform our theater into a romantic vineyard and combine the tasting of fine champagne with theater and fine food!

Come with me:
A basket, a hat, a blanket – and off we go for an atmospheric picnic of a very special kind.

Experience great personalities: widows, kings, monks, and Napoleon in the middle of it all. A Belgian three-star chef will serve you, heroes and adventurers will take you on their great adventures, and the legendary Maxim's in Paris and the Belle Epoque will make you dream.

A sparkling evening, humorous, melancholic and a declaration of love to life, love and a small and very special part of France.

Experience and learn about Champagne, the Champagne region and the history of the Champenois, those courageous inhabitants of the region who achieved the impossible, in an entertaining way.

"A Picnic in Champagne" – a theatrical evening amidst longing, joy, myth, pleasure, and magnificent stories that only life can tell. Champagne is so much more than simply the world's most famous sparkling wine.

Champagne is pure emotion, adventure, courage, daring, and a journey into the heart of France. Santé!

... and in between, we eat whatever is put on the table!

By and with Antje Grimm and Thomas Gisiger
