Founded in 2009 by Christiane Seebach and Andreas Steinhardt after attending the Zappanale festival, the band Tante Tofu blends rock, blues, jazz, and prog rock into a distinctive style. With changing lineups and projects, Tante Tofu has been a fixture across Germany for years, performing rock oratorios such as "Carl Heinz" and "Sauerkraut." For "SchieLa," they will once again bring together an experienced ensemble of musicians with roots in diverse genres, interpreting the Zappa-esque soundscape with their own unique touch.
