Come celebrate – how a village saved its outdoor pool!
Waldbad Zernien (built in 1969) was almost shut down in 2000. For 25 years now, the volunteer-run association has kept it going – with heart, donations and countless hours of work. Today the pool is a place that brings people together: swimming lessons, early-morning swims, family afternoons and more.

Programme (provisional):
15:00 — Welcome
16:00 — Bouncy castle, kids’ games, foam cannon & Neptune “baptism” (traditional pool ceremony)
18:00 — Dance group from Göhrde Primary School (join in!)
afterwards — Music, BBQ, drinks & cocktails (Event-Fabrik Salzwedel)
20:00 — Live music on the main stage
Raffle: On site we’ll raffle 1 family season pass + €25 kiosk voucher.
