Creatively Solving Stress
Creative Self-Care for Adults
An introductory evening for Creative Self-Care and creative therapeutic coaching.
Open Studio means: The door is open. For adults of all ages and genders.
For people who currently feel stressed or stuck.
For people who think a lot.
For people who want to give themselves a little more space again.
And also for those who are simply curious about what happens when they encounter a personal topic not just with words.
You do not need to be able to paint or draw. You do not need any creative experience or have to claim to be "a creative person."
On this evening, you will get to know Creative Self-Care in a very practical way. Together, we will implement two simple, guided creatively therapeutic-inspired exercises: one with pen and paper and one with color and brush. The focus is not on producing a beautiful picture, learning a specific technique, or doing something "correctly." The process is what matters.
- What happens when you stop thinking about a topic for a moment and instead start creating with it?
- What thoughts come up?
- What becomes suddenly clearer?
- What feels easy, and what feels resistant?
- And what might you discover about what is currently occupying or stressing you?
Creative work opens up a different access than pure conversation. Thoughts and feelings do not need to be perfectly articulated first. You can initially express yourself through lines, shapes, colors, words, or materials, which can then be viewed and reflected upon together.
CREATIVELY SOLVING STRESS Especially with the topic of stress, this can be exciting:
- Not only "How do I become more relaxed?", but also
- "What actually puts me under pressure?",
- "What do I need right now?" or
- "What needs to change for my everyday life to better suit me?"
The exercises for the evening are deliberately kept simple. There is no assessment and no comparison. You decide for yourself what you want to create, what you would like to share about your work, and what remains entirely with you. This creates a safe space where you do not have to experience creativity as performance, but rather as an opportunity to pause, to perceive yourself, to try something out, and to gain a new perspective on your own experiences.
The evening is also an invitation to rediscover creativity. Many adults have stopped drawing, painting, writing, or simply letting something emerge playfully because suddenly something "good" had to come out of it.
It's not about being able to create art. It's about being able to use creativity for yourself. In the end, you take away not only what has been created on the paper. Perhaps you will also take away a new thought, a surprising insight, a little more clarity, or an idea of what might do you good in everyday life.
Who is the Open Studio for? For all adults who want to get to know Creative Self-Care without obligation, regardless of age, gender, or artistic experience.
You do not need a specific problem or a prepared question. You can come with a specific personal or professional topic, with stress and tension in everyday life, or simply with the desire to take conscious time for yourself for two hours.
