On Hamburg's Family Day, we set up a mobile net and basketball hoop for shooting games. Anyone can give it a try.
St. Pauli Bats and Bats-Cares: One club – two missions!
The St. Pauli Bats eV is more than just a sports club that primarily plays basketball.
The St. Paul Bats also includes the Bats-Cares social services organization, with an initiative that's probably unique in Germany: the 'Bats Kids Bus,' a bus with seating for 85 people, donated by the VHH (VHH). This bus picks up children and young people from refugee shelters.
Nature excursions, swimming lessons, and even leagues for basketball/streetball, indoor soccer, and badminton are offered. Squash will be added in 2025.
The club also offers yoga for women and fasting training for seniors.
