The non-commercial Heimfeld neighborhood festival is a street festival by Heimfeld residents for Heimfeld residents. The main stage features a continuous program of music and performances by Heimfeld institutions and local music groups. Other venues offer special activities for children, and the Hamburg Academy of Music and Culture and students from the Friedrich Ebert Gymnasium will perform classical music in the church. A traffic safety course for kids, organized by the traffic safety organization, is planned for the schoolyard of the Friedrich Ebert Gymnasium. Food and drinks will be available, and a climbing tower will challenge children to some alpine feats.
Adjacent to the festival area, the local flea market invites visitors to stroll, browse and buy.
