Pop, jazz & folk pearls - a cappella

Magnificent sounds from a choir that is exceptional in every respect await all fans of a cappella choral singing: The Sounddrops return to the Kulturkirche Altona with new songs on September 18, 2025.

The Sounddrops, a choir of blind professional musicians and music-loving amateurs, have up to 12-part arrangements of pop, jazz and folk gems from the 80s to the present day, as well as classical works, in their varied repertoire.

In addition to new arrangements created last year, you'll also find songs by the Beatles, Jamie Cullum, Coldplay, Norah Jones, the Eurythmics, Massive Attack, Jamiroquai, Pentatonix, Snow Patrol, and Peter Gabriel, along with many other gems from this era. And perhaps you'll even be able to take the sounddrops home with you this evening (in the form of their freshly pressed CD).
