In »Somnoversum – Das Traumlabor« (Somnoversum – The Dream Laboratory), actor and musician Jan Josef Liefers and renowned sleep researcher and author Prof. Dr. Ingo Fietze from Charité Berlin combine science and poetry in an extraordinary stage experiment about the secrets of good sleep.
Between free conversation and sound, between research and dreams, they encounter – together with the audience – the big questions: How and why do we sleep? And perhaps even more importantly: Why can’t we sometimes? When thoughts circle, legs twitch, breath catches and worries become loud. The answers are surprising. Because they show that knowledge only works when it touches us.
Together with Jan Josef Liefers and Prof. Dr. Ingo Fietze, the audience embarks on an expedition into the twilight worlds of the night. A unique evening that brings science to life – for those seeking sleep, those who are pensive, and anyone who wants to enjoy going to bed again and wake up feeling inspired in the morning
