Summer, fun and games! Vacation children can always experience hands-on activities or stage shows on Wednesdays at the Schwerin-Mueß Open-Air Museum.

We offer a rich program for children and families in the open air under shady trees near the museum café during the summer vacations. In case of rainy weather with limited number of participants in the farmhouse.

There are two times to remember for each vacation Wednesday: 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Sometimes artists present a varied program: puppet show, magic show or funny stage show. On other vacation Wednesdays, museum staff offer great hands-on stations on changing themes. Registration for groups of 10 or more: 0385 20841-14 or mkramer@schwerin.de. Museum admission: 0 EURO for children up to 6 years, 2 EURO for children from 7 to 17 years, 5 EURO for adults, 10 EURO for families. Group discount from 15 persons. No extra admission for stage shows.

The Great Hopsini

2 Performances with Hops and Hopsi - children's magic show with animation and entertainment for families. The performers juggle, perform magic, entertain with humor, music and slapstick, and encourage children to participate. Ages 3 and up.

2 performances with Danilo the magician - funny and entertaining magic show with action and animation. For children from 3 years and for the whole family.

Firefighters' Fairy Tale

The Lindenberg Puppet Theater performs the story "The Fireman's Tale" for children (ages 3+) and adults. The farm animals of the farmer Schorsch have founded a volunteer fire department. Only the two youngest Cordula and Horst are not allowed to join. - That's unfair!
