In March 2024 I was romantically pursued by a badminton player. Over the next 18 months, we had an on-again, off-again relationship, where we would be madly in love one moment, and entrenched in unresolvable conflict the next. We would break up, then get back together again because we missed each other, repeatedly, trapped in a seemingly never-ending cycle. With each break-up, I created more Solo Badminton Show, until in the end I had a full-length show, and no relationship left. The show weaves together Vivaldi's Four Seasons, projected text, and actions inspired by the sport of badminton.
