danz.nord Performance "RAFU"
»RAFU« is about relationships – how they develop, change, and sometimes also suffer cracks. The title comes from Urdu and means »to patch« or »to repair«. With a combination of dance and spoken text, three performers tell what happens between two loving people. It’s about closeness and distance, about conflict and reconciliation, and about the question of whether and how to find each other again.
The tanz.nord project is funded by TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund from resources of the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media, co-financed by the state of Schleswig-Holstein, the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the Cultural Office of Flensburg, the Cultural Office of Neumünster, the Cultural Department of the city of Bad Oldesloe, the Sparkassen Cultural Foundation Stormarn, and the Brunswiker Foundation. The project is supported by the working group »Strengthening Culture in Stormarn«, which is a collaboration of the district of Stormarn, the Sparkassen Cultural Foundation Stormarn, the Sparkassen Foundation Stormarn, and the Citizen Foundation Stormarn.
