At SCHNUCKIWOOD the heath shakes - be there at the 2nd edition of the children's music festival in Buchholz in der Nordheide.
On the large stage in the Empore Pond in the city center, a magnificent firework display of LIVE concerts, interactive readings and activity workshops will be lit:
Things will start off a little more slowly, but still intensely: To get you in the mood, there's a children's and family yoga class to ground yourself for the exciting day ahead. This time, Mona Jonas is offering her family yoga class starting at 10 a.m. for all ages in the Town Hall Park. Simply bring a yoga mat or other soft surface, such as a picnic blanket or beach towel, and join in.
Afterwards, we head straight to the children's clothing flea market in the gallery, which opens at 11 a.m.
The program starts at 12 noon on the big stage in the Empore pond:
"Larissa & the CoolKids" are hoping for a decent crowd, because the "CoolKids" are all the children in front of the stage. Sing and dance along are encouraged!
During the breaks between the set-up at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., the two sports clubs Buchholz 08 and Blau Weiß Buchholz each offer an activity workshop: dance, hip hop, rope skipping, and similar disciplines are on the program, depending on the fun and stamina of the participants.
At 1:30 p.m., children's book author Sandra Hohenstein will present an interactive reading about being different and will stage her reversible book "(K)einer von uns" ((K)einer von uns) together with the audience, raising awareness of openness, acceptance, and friendship. Afterward, participants can make "narwhal headbands" (the main character in her book, Nawi, is a narwhal).
Kat Wulff's choir workshop will be running in parallel, and she will invite all choir kids on stage to perform at least one song from her "Kat & Kids" concert starting at 2:30 p.m.
The highlight will be "RAKETEN ERNA" from Berlin-Kreuzberg at 4 p.m., who have been inspiring children and young people to peak performance with their music for many years. Will they live up to their reputation as an excellent club and festival band on the Empore-Teich stage? Join us LIVE.
