The whole truth
Portia, a physiotherapist, and her husband Leopold, a tax consultant, are in an unhappy, loveless marriage held together only by habit. Emotional stagnation reigns in their lives.
A central highlight of the play is the open portrayal of the inner life: the audience not only hears what the characters say, but also experiences thoughts, longings, disappointments and unsaid truths.
