Japanese Gardens in Hamburg / Tours through the Japanese Gardens
In the middle of the city of Hamburg, the Japanese Garden in Planten un Blomen is an oasis of peace and a place for reflection. Rocks, water and plants combine here to create an idealized, reduced image of nature. In accordance with East Asian philosophy and the essence of Japanese garden art, the Japanese Garden in Planten un Blomen was designed in 1991 by garden architect Yoshikuni Araki from Osaka. Anyone who has the leisure to take in this simple and diverse landscape will get an impression of the strange and fascinating Japanese culture.
