Japanese Gardens in Hamburg / Guided tours of the Japanese Gardens
In the middle of the city of Hamburg, the Japanese garden in Planten un Blomen is an oasis of calm and a place of reflection. Rocks, water and plants form an idealized, scaled-down image of nature. In line with East Asian philosophy and the essence of Japanese garden art, the Japanese garden in Planten un Blomen was designed in 1991 by garden architect Yoshikuni Araki from Osaka. Anyone who has the leisure to let this simple and diverse landscape work on them will get an impression of the strange and fascinating Japanese culture.
