Showdown at Schmidtchen
Do you love late-night shows? Do you adore comedy? Are you up for quirky games, have a natural flair for the dramatic, and are you ready for tons of fun? Then welcome to "Reeperbahn Royale" at the Schmidtchen! Nowhere else are the show and the audience closer than here. A guaranteed dose of electrifying audience participation!
Schmidtchen's owner, Henning Mehrtens, personally invites you to your wake-up call in Hamburg's St. Pauli district every second Saturday. Always on hand: quiz mascot Otto Puttel and rock singer Lia Joham, who performs a top hit in every show that will have you dancing along.
Following the motto "Schmidt-made at midnight," each show features a succession of up-and-coming comedy acts, each delivering their best gags and competing with the audience for fame, glory, and fantastic prizes. In classic game show style, they compete in quizzes, battle vegan jokes, and play games like "Flirt ABC," "Truth or the Neighborhood," or "Last Schmidt Standing." Every single guest—or even the entire audience—can participate as a contestant until the Saturday night's Schmidt Super Guest is crowned, who then takes home a mega prize.
And whether your evening culminates here in a grand finale, or whether you continue your night out in high spirits afterwards: This show is guaranteed to be the highlight of your weekend!
Good to know: The fun is multiplied many times over with an internet-enabled mobile phone: Simply scan the QR code at the start of the show and enjoy the full interactive experience.
