Open Ship Hochseeschlepper ELBE (Museumsschiff) Celebrations

On the two historic ocean-going tugs, ELBE and HOLLAND, you'll get a feel for the harsh realities of daily life far out at sea. These powerful vessels, over 50 meters long, were among the most powerful salvage tugs of their time, dating back to the 1950s. In the 1960s, the ELBE was even the most powerful tug in the world, and today, as a museum ship, it tells its story. The historic ship HOLLAND can still be booked for excursions.
