The Swedish trombonist, composer, producer and singer is one of Europe's most successful, prolific and, above all, popular jazz musicians. Whether with his Funk Unit or his trio, as a musician or leader of various big bands, or on his annual »Christmas with my friends« tour, the man with the red trombone has had a decisive influence on contemporary European jazz! On the occasion of his 70th birthday, Nils Landgren is now fulfilling a lifelong dream: he is organising concert evenings with a symphony orchestra!
