Sustainability in HafenCity
During the "New Horizons" city tour from HafenCity to the Elbe bridges, you will receive background information about the high sustainability standards of Hamburg's new city quarters.
You start in the central HafenCity on Osakaallee. From there you can walk to the new quarters in the east. You will learn more about current projects and how an efficient, climate-friendly urban structure, the future-oriented mobility concept and "green" building quality are successfully implemented in a clear way.
Your guide will show you the new open spaces in Baakenhafen and explain the innovative approaches to residential areas being built on the construction sites. Finally, the approximately 1.5-hour city tour ends at the Elbe bridges.
