Originally honing his craft and making his name as a DJ and producer within Bristol’s early Dubstep scene, Kahn found himself at the forefront of the genre’s new wave of artists throughout the 2010s, while also playing an instrumental role in the Grime revival of the same period. He is part of the iconic Young Echo collective.
In 2012, he co-founded Bandulu Records with his musical collaborator Neek. This was a way for him to self-release music and give a platform to other local artists. Combined with a string of releases and collaborations with staple labels such as Deep Medi, Keysound Recordings, Butterz and Terrorhythm, Kahn became synonymous with a style that incorporated the raw, darker elements of Dubstep and Grime with influences from Dancehall, Goth and Middle Eastern musical traditions.
Lupini has slowly, quietly established herself as a pivotal figure in North West England‘s music scene. Now introduced to a wider audience via the ‘DJ Mag Best Radio Show’ winning NTS residency (and a BBC Radio 1 show with Benji B), Lupini is a DJ, broadcaster, workshop facilitator and all-round music enthusiast. Lupini was the station manager and programmer at Melodic Distraction Radio for five years, and as a performer has one foot in the club and the other in the home hifi, shifting seamlessly from ambient, to mutant swung techno, industrial, dub-wise sludge and noisy post punk.
