What do the home countries of all the guest artists and composers in this concert have in common? Denmark, Russia, Sweden and Estonia all border the Baltic Sea – a region with a legendary wealth of creativity. Two of its most exciting musical figures come together in this NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra concert: Estonian star conductor Paavo Järvi and extraordinary Swedish clarinettist Martin Fröst, who joins the NDR as Artist in Residence for the 2025/26 season.
