Forest fires, water shortages, record numbers of heat deaths. The climate crisis can no longer be overlooked in Germany, even german chancellor Friedrich Merz has noticed this. Nevertheless, the Federal Government sees no reason to change its policy. Germany as a pioneer in climate protection could move a lot and thus become a global role model. Especially in view of the UN climate conference COP31 in November, it is important that the federal government takes this responsibility seriously and works constructively on solutions to the climate crisis. Moreover, as a major polluter, Germany must finally live up to its responsibilities towards countries in the Global South that have contributed the least to the climate crisis and suffer the most from it.
On November 13th, we're going to protest in all of Germany and exert pressure on Merz and his government, because this summer has once again shown:
The climate crisis is not only an issue of the future for Europe either, its consequences are already devastating and will only get worse, especially without swift action!
(More information (arrival, accessibility, schedule, ...) will be announced shortly before the protest on social media and on our website.)
