This VHS course combines somatic practice, biomechanical knowledge and artistic exploration. The focus is on the spine as the body’s supporting and moving axis. Elements from contemporary dance, Axis Syllabus and Tai Chi enhance awareness, coordination, stability and flexibility, and open up new approaches to movement and expression. Improvisation, choreographic approaches and collaborative dialogue culminate in a final performance.
