The star of the night is Detroit’s Scott Grooves. As the former keyboardist for Inner City, with early releases on Kevin Saunderson’s KMS label and much more, he has helped shape the multifaceted sound we now casually refer to as DETROIT TECHNO.
The closing set is played by Gallons, who moved from the American East Coast to the shores of Lake St. Clair as a child and likely still has an affinity for the Jersey club sound. Even though he now builds synthesizers for the latest generation of Underground Resistance.
The warm-up set comes from late dj, a Cologne-based underground legend who shares more than just an age with Theo Parrish.
