Brazilian singer-songwriter Liniker has always been crazy about art. Growing up in Araraquara, a small town just under 270 km from Brazil’s capital São Paulo, she regularly accompanied her mother and uncle to samba-rock sessions as a child. This was followed by theatre studies in Santo André – an experience that would play an important role in the development of her artistic identity. Liniker first gained recognition in 2015 with the release of the EP »Cru«, which was published online under the name Liniker e os Caramelows.
