On Saturday, November 15, 2025, the Ahrensburg City Library cordially invites children ages 8 to 12 to its next Maker Saturday. From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., there will be painting, cutting, and lighting at the library at Manfred-Samusch-Straße 3 – all free and without registration.
Under the motto "Make your creations shine," participants will design creative LED cards. Whether glowing bat eyes, a flashing lighthouse, or their own ideas—the sky's the limit. With simple materials and a dose of curiosity, they'll create luminous works of art to take home.
The event is part of the popular Maker Saturdays with Dr. Barbara Kranz-Zwerger from the “Cave of Wonders,” where children can combine technology, crafts, and creativity in a playful way.
